Jonathan Gootenberg Wins International Biology Olympiad HonorsJonathan Gootenberg, an NCI intern working in Dr. Elise Kohn's laboratory this summer, just won honors for the International Biology Olympiad. Mr. Gootenberg, who attends Montgomery Blair High School, was part of a four-person USA team that took home four gold medals from this international competition held this year in Mumbai, India. The U.S.A. Biology Olympiad nurtures young scholars to careers of excellence and leadership in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
